About the Program

The Chiloquin Teen Adventure Camp is a new six-week summer program providing middle and high school students with hands-on, engaging, and inspiring experiences in outdoor adventure, biking, arts, science, wellness, and career exploration. With weekly themes and daily activities, CTAC aims to promote learning, leadership, and a strong connection to the community.

Position Summary

Chiloquin Visions in Progress (CVIP) seeks a motivated and organized Program Coordinator to oversee the successful delivery of the 2025 Chiloquin Teen Adventure Camp. The Coordinator will be responsible for planning, logistics, staff supervision, and daily operations during the program. This role ensures a safe, engaging, and impactful experience for all youth participants.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Coordinate all aspects of the program, including planning, scheduling, and implementation

·         Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, facilitators, families, and staff

·         Manage daily logistics, including attendance, transportation, meals, and supplies

·         Supervise and support 2–3 Program Assistants and work closely with guest facilitators

·         Ensure participant safety and wellbeing; uphold camp rules and protocols

·         Monitor program quality and adjust activities or logistics as needed

·         Track program participation and outcomes; assist with end-of-program reporting

·         Facilitate communication with CVIP leadership and stakeholders

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

·         Experience working with youth (ages 12–18) in educational or recreational settings

·         Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

·         Comfortable coordinating schedules, managing logistics, and handling challenges

·         Passion for youth development, community-building, and outdoor learning

·         Background in education, youth programming, social work, or related field preferred

·         CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain before start)

·         Valid driver’s license; ability to pass background check

·         Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or similar digital tools

·         Enthusiasm for biking, art, science, wellness, or nature-based education
