Fire Season is NOT over yet. 10/13/22

Last Updated 10/13/2022Posted in Chiloquin , Summer, wildfire

Don't be fooled by the shorter days and the longer nights.  Fire Season is NOT over even though we are at a Level II which means you can cut up until 1pm (1300).  Be really careful cutting and be sure to hang around for your fire watch.  Look on the SCOFMP webpage (https://scofmp.org/) for current status.  Believe it or not we are actually in record territory for this date for the fire behavior indices.
