A Festive Finish Before Christmas Break at CLAS πŸŽ„πŸͺ

The last day of Chiloquin Learns After School (CLAS) before Christmas break was full of holiday cheer, creativity, and plenty of smiles.

Students enjoyed a cozy afternoon reading Christmas stories, working on Christmas sticker pages, and getting into the holiday spirit together. The highlight of the day was decorating sugar cookies, which quickly turned into a joyful (and delicious) celebration.

As the kids decorated their cookies, they began singing Christmas carols, filling the room with laughter and holiday music. It was one of those moments that perfectly captured what CLAS is all about β€” learning, creativity, and connection.

Local Loaf Farm Stand generously provided the cookie decorating kits, and they were a huge hit with the kids. Each kit included a large Christmas tree cookie and a gingerbread man, along with sprinkles and three colors of frosting. Everything was beautifully prepared and made the activity easy, fun, and festive for everyone.

A big thank-you to Sarah at Local Loaf Farm Stand for supporting our students and helping make the day so special. If you’d like to check out her business or follow along, you can find Local Loaf Farm Stand on Facebook here:

Moments like these remind us how important community partnerships are in creating meaningful experiences for our kids. We’re grateful for everyone who helps make CLAS a place where students can learn, celebrate, and feel supported.
