Hands-On Learning at CLAS!

Last Updated 1/12/2026Posted in CLAS

CLAS students recently had a special visit from the Klamath County Museum! Liz taught students about minerals, their uses, and where they're found around the world.

Students got hands-on experience testing minerals for hardness and learning how to identify them by name. It was a fun, interactive lesson that sparked curiosity and excitement for science!

A big thank-you to Liz and the Klamath County Museum for sharing their knowledge with our kids!

Community members, businesses, and organizations can get involved with CLAS by volunteering their time, sharing a skill or activity with students, sponsoring program needs, or partnering with us to provide hands-on learning experiences. Contact us at [email protected]
