Fall into What's Happening in Chiloquin; Our Fourth Quarter Newsletter Is Here!
The latest edition of Visions of Chiloquin is here, and there is plenty happening in our community this fall! You can read it here: https://assets.locable.com/pdfs/11461/attachments-original-1790965138-Quarter_4_-_October_2026_Newsletter.pdf?1790965138
Our October newsletter begins with some exciting news: Chiloquin now has its own RecycleOn Center at the Chiloquin Community Center. The free drop-off location gives residents a new way to recycle several hard-to-recycle materials.
We also look back at an incredible summer for the Chiloquin Teen Adventure Camp (CTAC). Thirty-three teens enrolled this year and spent six weeks exploring everything from outdoor recreation and environmental education to skilled trades, cooking, art, entrepreneurship, and biking.
Looking ahead, Chiloquin Learns After School (CLAS) is returning to Chiloquin Elementary School, providing local K–6 students with homework help, activities, a hot meal, and a safe place to spend their afternoons.
October is also a great month for the arts. Mask Mania returns to Two Rivers Art Gallery with a new student component featuring Chiloquin High School artists, while the Chiloquilters are taking their work to Klamath Falls for a special show at the Klamath Art Gallery.
You’ll also find library news, upcoming community events, Bingo and Trivia Nights, and information about GivingTuesday on December 1. With nonprofit funding becoming increasingly challenging, this year’s GivingTuesday article explains how local donations help support the Community Center and CVIP programs throughout the year.
Take a few minutes to explore our fourth-quarter newsletter and see what’s happening at CVIP and throughout Chiloquin. There are plenty of ways to participate, volunteer, support local programs—or simply come out and have some fun!
