Chiloquilters Take Their Art to Klamath Falls

The Chiloquilters are heading to Klamath Falls for a special month-long show and sale at the Klamath Art Gallery!

The exhibit opens with a reception on Sunday, October 4, from noon to 4 p.m. and continues through October 25. The show will feature a variety of work created by members of the Chiloquilters, showcasing the creativity, skill, and artistry that goes into quilting.

The Chiloquilters are a program of Chiloquin Visions in Progress and regularly meet at Two Rivers Art Gallery. While many people may think of quilts mainly as something warm for the bed, today's quilting can also be an incredible form of fiber art. This exhibit gives our talented local quilters an opportunity to share their work with a wider audience.

The show also highlights the connections within our regional arts community. Many artists participate in more than one gallery or arts organization, and the Klamath Art Association and Two Rivers Art Gallery share a common goal of supporting artists and encouraging people to experience and appreciate the arts.

The Klamath Art Gallery is located at 120 Riverside Drive in Klamath Falls and is open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
